{what next} at the SL Christmas Expo

Yesterday, the first SL Christmas Expo opened and we’re  very excited to be taking part! The expo is in support of Relay For Life of Second Life and the American Cancer Society and is a massive event, spread across 4 seasonally landscaped sims. The event will run until the 18th December.

We’ve two exclusive items for sale at our expo store, both 100% donation items, all proceeds going to the RFL charity. In our expo store, you find a very Christmassy twin bed set, which includes the bed, picture and presents decor and a super cute Christmas Mailbox.

We’re also very honoured to have been nominated for two awards in the expo’s Avi Choice Awards: ‘Favourite House Builder’ and ‘Favourite Furniture Creator’. Many thanks to whoever nominated us! If you feel inclined to vote for us or anyone else:click here.

We hope you’ll get a chance to visit the Christmas Expo, as not only is it a great place to shop for Christmas decoration or gifts, there are also a ton of events happening, including:

* SL Idol – An annual singing competition that will take place every year at The Christmas Expo, this contest will involve rounds of performances by some of SL’s great musicians.
* The Avi Choice Awards – The Avi Choice Awards ~ the annual awards presentation recognizing the people and talent behind SL’s amazing creations, completely chosen and voted on by SL residents.
* Amazing Race – Two member teams will race across the SL grid collecting specific hunt items, completing challenges and competing to be the last team standing.
