Our Tour de Second Life contest featuring our ride-able bicycles closed a few days ago. It was almost an impossible job to pick just three, as there were so many fantastic entries. Congrats to the finalists!

Jar Lanterns at {what next}

Hi everyone! Two new sets of versatile glass jar lanterns for Lazy Sunday this weekend. They’re ideal for creating a magical or romantic atmosphere outdoors or even indoors, at parties or venues too. They look especially beautiful strung between or hung from trees at dusk or nighttime.

Two sets to choose from:

* Flowery Colours includes all coloured jar lanterns (includes a white/plain one too) – with an etched flower design on the glass.

* Stars: has a pretty star etched design, one lantern is just plain stars and the others include the words “star”, “light” or “bright” on the glass.

Each set comes with:

* all the lanterns individually so you can rez one at a time.

* Optional extras – also includes a version with all the lights hanging on a rope strung between two poles

* optional extra wall bracket, so you can hang one from the bracket on a wall

* option extra hanging rope so you can add length when hanging them from trees

* scripted candle light

* prim counts – depending on the configuration you use, you can rez as many or as few as you need or your prim count allows:

each jar = 3 prims and all copyable

Happy Valentine’s Day at {what next} – 20% off gift cards!

We should all do something special for the one we love today, so take the guesswork out of gift giving today with a {what next} gift card. Each one has 20% off until the 15th February …for example if you buy a gift card valued at L$250, it will only cost you L$200, a gift card valued at L$1000 will only cost you only L$800. Gift cards are sold in denominations between L$100 and L$5000. They’re very easy to send and even easier to use! You can find the gift card stand near our main-store landing point.

Another way to treat someone special with a surprise gift is gifting from the vendor – most of our vendors at the mainstore have a gifting feature, for those who prefer to send an actual gift. Simply touch the vendor and choose ‘send as a gift’ and enter the recipient’s name in local chat. A couple of suggestions for gifts with cute cuddle options, would be our Under The Stars Swing.
