{what next} at CHIC²

Hi everyone! I’m feeling all summery and enjoying the warmer weather outdoors lately, so you can see where our inspiration came from when modelling this garden tables and chairs set. It’s brand new for the CHIC² Birthday Event which opened earlier today. Keira Seerose of CHIC outdid herself with the organisation and event layout, in fact it’s worth a visit alone just to see each of the 150+ stores cube type displays.

The Hampton Garden Set includes bistro style chairs (without and with seat cushion), table and decorative colourful tray. The chairs dispense or rez an array of props, including brunch/waffles, coffee mug, reading book, magazine, laptop, drinks and phone.

It’s available in three unique designs – white with strawberry pattern fabric on the seat pillows, black wrought iron style with plain fabric pillows and pale yellow with floral fabric pillow design, the trays are also all slightly different.

This set is mesh and you’ll require a mesh enabled viewer to render this set correctly.

You can view the white version of the set (yellow and black chair only) as well as demo the animations at the CHIC² venue until the event closes on 23rd. After the 23rd it will be available at our main-store.

{what next} @ the Home & Garden Expo!

We’re very happy to be sponsoring a sim this year at the Home & Garden Expo in support of Relay for Life/American Cancer Society. We have several new sets only available at the Expo, so this is going to be a pretty long post! First up, is our 100% donation items for RFL, the Loungin Chair and a Half Sets and Wall Prints, designed to coordinate with our other music themed Loungin pieces at Culture Shock.

The Charlotte Living Room Set (mesh) is all new, available in three inspired and fresh colour palettes and would suit a range of homes, from contemporary to cottage. {what next} V.I.P members can purchase each set at 50% off compared to purchasing each piece individually – just make sure to have your group tag active and pay from the RED sign! Pieces are for sale individually also.

Since we’ve had requests for a new cuddle chair for two, we also have the chair & half sets to work with the Charlotte Living Room. All the chair and a half sets sit two avatars, either friends or couples (romantic PG style cuddles and kisses!), they also give out props as required for various animations such as chatting on the phone, drinking, reading, on a laptop for example.

Many thanks to Pitsch Parx of UrbanizeD, who created an ethereal enchanted forest type feel to Sims 1&2, making them quite unique at this year’s Expo, as well as beautiful places to wander or cycle around. You’ll find following amazing stores on Sims 1 & 2, Beach Street Home and Garden, Insight Designs, Funky Junk, %percent Furniture, Thistle Homes, Zanzo, L&K Prefabs, Angie’s Home Interiros, *ionic*, Sway & [DECO], UrbanizeD, L2 Studio, Sleepy Bones, D&M Furniture, New Trails, Melino, Interior Addiction.

We have a variety of live music planned for most days to entertain you while you shop. Many of SL’s best-loved live performers will be taking the stage and donating an hour of their time for this important cause, as well as the awesome DJ Cameron Trenchcoat, owner of the popular live music hangouts, the Whisky-a-go-go and the Rock Store. Shows start tonight at 8pm SLT on Sim #1, with professional musician FrankLee Anatra, performing contemporary rock & pop covers, originals with his smooth vocals and acoustic guitar, followed by singer songwriter ReggieSunset Rookswood at 9pm, with his dreamy ballads! Come hang out with us, bring a friend or a date and relax in the beautiful landscaped gardens at UrbanizeD.

Lazy Sunday & Culture Shock at {what next}

New this weekend for Lazy Sunday, a set of two mesh wall print collections – designed for the kitchen, I think they’d also work well in a cafe or dining room area.

They’re $L75 for both sets this weekend only at our main-store and also on the Marketplace here.

Don’t forget that Culture Shock still has another week left to run and now the rush has died down, it’s a perfect time to visit. If you haven’t visited yet, we have an adorable, mesh,retro-inspired music room set there – all pieces are sold separately and all the proceeds from the yellow record player and yellow Loungin Pillow go to the designated charity. You can also pick up a free mesh music poster at our booth too!

We’re continuing on the April Showers theme this weekend with the ‘Let It Rain’ Pose Sets ..one for girls and one for guys, all mesh and all brand new for the Zombie Popcorn Brand Wave.

Each set includes 10 umbrellas, each with one custom static pose and 18 texture-change options on the fabric, simply just wear/add and you’ll be posed!

Designed with guys in mind!

Both sets are available at the Zombie Popcorn Brand Store, the {what next} main-store and also on the Marketplace. They’re available on the Marketplace as Direct Delivery straight to your Receieved Folder, so no unpacking, just open the folder, wear and pose!
