Lazy Sunday & Culture Shock at {what next}

New this weekend for Lazy Sunday, a set of two mesh wall print collections – designed for the kitchen, I think they’d also work well in a cafe or dining room area.

They’re $L75 for both sets this weekend only at our main-store and also on the Marketplace here.

Don’t forget that Culture Shock still has another week left to run and now the rush has died down, it’s a perfect time to visit. If you haven’t visited yet, we have an adorable, mesh,retro-inspired music room set there – all pieces are sold separately and all the proceeds from the yellow record player and yellow Loungin Pillow go to the designated charity. You can also pick up a free mesh music poster at our booth too!

Culture Shock has now opened and we’ve a range of fun pieces that would make a great addition to the living, music room or a little hangout – the Lounging Pillows, framed posters, pile of vinyl and retro record players (available in 5 colours) are 100% mesh, the yellow versions are both 100% donation items to the event’s chosen charity Médecins Sans Frontières:

Hope you get a chance to visit! You can find the event store map are SLurls here.

{what next} Norwegian Wood @ Culture Shock

We wanted to create a living room that was less typically girlie than we usually do, but at the same time it would appeal to both sexes, with a clean, contemporary feel…the Norwegian Living Room collection is a 13 piece set, also pieces sold individually.

The two sofa choices have texture-changing options, as well as all custom couples and singles animations:

Designed also to be as low prim as it can be, the guitar bookcase seen here is only 6 prims, that includes the books too!

It has some cute props, including ‘wearable’ laptop, guitar and coffee mugs..and especially for the musicians out there, guitar animations in the sofa!

Available for now at the Culture Shock event, a CHIC event – “The first annual “Culture Shock” event in May 2011 (May 1st – May 22nd) aims to be a large and important event for the Secondlife fashion culture. Celebrating trends and trendsetters within our business, and incorperating music and art, all with reflections of our own personal first life cultures depicted in our creations”
